Why Feed Turmeric?
Turmeric has great antioxidant properties and helps to support healthy joints, respiratory function, gastro intestinal function. Turmeric is best fed with our linseed or omega oil as this helps your horse absorb the turmeric easier and more efficiently.
Our Turmeric powder contains on average, 5% Curcumin.
What's in the bag?
We use 100% pure Turmeric Powder, nothing else added or taken away.
How To Feed Turmeric
This product should be mixed with your horses daily feed at the following amounts:
- Small Horse (Under 450kg) - 20g per day, this can be split between feeds or given at once
- Large Horse (450kg+) - 30g per day, this can be split between feeds or given at once
As with any Turmeric based supplement, it should be introduced to the horses diet slowly, built up gradually over the course of a week or 2.
